Innova
The complete CTC machine and largest selling CTC Machine in the world. Unparalleled engineering standards and exclusive features is what keeps the INNOVA a step ahead always.
Now, also with 9.5" rollers.
Features
AUTO DEJAMMING - Introduced into the world of CTC by T&I, a unique auto-dejamming feature causes the slow speed roller to slide back in case of any foreign metal entering the rollers or in the event of shock loads. The rollers can be immediately re-engaged, and the machine started without any loss of time. The rollers return to their original settings. Prevents damage to rollers. Cuts downtime.
AUTO TRIPPING - The motors of the INNOVA automatically trips when the auto-dejamming mechanism is triggered. This brings the complete machine to a stop - automatically. The Rotorvane can also be connected to the same circuit. Prevents accumulation and jamming of tea. Saves rollers from damage.
MICROMESH - On the INNOVA, the rollers can be meshed very closely simply by turning a lever, without even stopping the machine. This enables very accurate adjustments to the type of cuts desired. Synchronizing such adjustments with the ammeter reading ensures optimum motor power. Such 'fine tuning' is otherwise impossible. Enables just the right cuts.
BOLT-FREE HOUSING - Self-gripping housings eliminate bolts for fastening to the sideplates, facilitating quick changing of rollers without tools or hammering. Bearings remain safe within the housings. Prevents roller damage due to bolts remaining loose. Cuts maintenance by reducing 96 bolts in a triplex. Bearings are not damaged.
AIR COOLED ROLLERS - Cold air introduced from behind the rollers prevents leaf temperature from rising, thereby improving the quality of liquor. Liquor quality improves. Better price realisation.

Advantages
Independent heavy Cutting Units - Each cutting unit is independent, and of a conveniently low height. The heavy and wide side plates have removable top arms that firmly clamp down on the housings. Every unit is rigid and vibration free, facilitating inspection and providing operational ease.
Positive Direct Drive Arrangement - This is possible through a specially designed gear-box which guarantees full power transmission, a 10:1 ratio between the HS & SS rollers, better cuts, and longer bearing life.
Independent Direct Drive - Specially designed gearbox and an independent direct drive arrangement for heavy duty vibration free performance.
Axial-pitch adjustment - A special device for axial pitch adjustment of rollers eliminates studs, nuts, and wear and tear-an essential feature often ignored.
By-pass arrangement - Any cutting unit can be by-passed, while all conveyors continue to run. This feature adds to the operational flexibility of the INNOVA.
Interchangeable rollers - Slow speed and high speed rollers can be interchanged easily for maximizing roller life.
Adjustable drop point - The adjustable drop point feature allows the tea to drop onto the SS Roller at a desired point.
Magnet - The INNOVA is fitted with a wide, heavy and sealed ceramic magnet. The magnet height is adjustable and facilitates lifting and cleaning.
Heavy Duty Gear Box - Fitted with special alloy-steel hardened and ground gears, shafts and heavy original bearings, the gear box minimizes backlash of rollers, ensures longer life of gears and bearings with a higher power output. Minimal breakdowns and noiseless operation.
Quick Roller Changing - For quick changing of rollers, the entire cassette housing-bearing unit can be slid out or fitted onto the rollers without the need to remove the bearings from the housings. No wear on roller shafts. Minimum downtime.
Conveyors - The conveyors are wider than the cutting width of the rollers. The entire cutting width is uniformly loaded giving a higher cutting capacity and eliminating leaf spill-off. The conveyors are fitted with take-up bearing units that have a much longer life. All conveyor rollers are crowned to eliminate belt run-off.
Operational Convenience - All controls such as spreader adjustment lever, auto-dejamming device, fine-cut adjustment clutch, axial adjustment and magnet are placed in a convenient line on one side of the machine.
"Rollalift" Mobile Crane - Offered optionally, this helps in speedy roller changing. It can also be used for loading and unloading from sharpening machines and for transporting the rollers.
Zero-defect Chasing - For zero defect chasing and minimal metal loss, the use of Clipper lathes fitted with Electronic Digital Read Out (DRO) is recommended.
