Conquest
The Conquest Dryer consists of a six-feet wide chamber, with insulated double walled construction and a fully overground Plenum chamber. Tea Travels on six-feet wide perforated trays on the first two circuits before entering the fluidized bed zone. A six-feet stainless steel slotted grid sheet alongwith guide vanes underneath, provide uniform fluidization of teas. A pneumatic discharge valve has been fitted to collect teas at a single point and also cool the teas before discharge. A power efficient cyclone dust extraction system has been specially designed to pick-up only fibre and fluff, leaving the tea particles behind in the chamber.
Features
Aerodynamic Steel Fabricated (fully overground) Plenum Chamber - This eliminates entire civil work and ensures scientific air distribution for better fluidization. Multiple guide vanes have been provided to further control airflow.
Self Cleaning System(SCS) - SCS ensures that whatever tea accumulated in the plenum chamber are swept out continuous. Cleaning & Inspection windows are provided to facilitate inspection and maintenance of the plenum chamber.
Energy Efficient Cyclone System - A power efficient cyclone dust extraction system has been specially designed to pick-up only fibre and fluff, leaving the tea particles behind in the chamber. This system consists of individual cyclones with the extractor fans mounted on common hood. Dampers are provided in each fan to set the air balance.
Pneumatic Discharge Valve - This new arrangement, consisting of a blower and pneumatic chamber helps to cool the dryer mouth teas and enables single point collection on the either side of the chamber. Single point collection makes conveyorization easy.
Automatic Control System (ACS) (Optional) - ACS comprises a Programmable Logic Counter (PLC) coupled with an AC frequency variator. The PLC receives the input of operating temperatures of the Conquest with the help of temperature sensor and adjusts the throughput time through the AC Variator. This ensures evenly fired teas without close monitoring - always.
Centralised Control Panel - An operating console consisting of digital temperature scanner(4channel), time delay mechanism alongwith a chain condition monitor enables the operator to control the Conquest from a single point.
In-built Front Feeder - A full width in-built feed conveyor comprising a 2000mm wide imported PVC Belt with a spreader is providing to facilitate uniform feed, either manually of from a simple conveyor. The feeder also acts as a buffer for holding dhool for facilitating adequate feed.
Aerofoil Design Hot Air Fan- Conquest Hot air fan has been specially designed with aerofoil impeller blades to deliver the required quantum of hot air with lowest power consumption.
Chamber Construction - This enables increasing of drier capacity by adding on additional modules.

Advantages
High Outputs - Modular construction enables output to be matched to specific requirements. The Conquest is available in 5 diffrent sizes - smallest comprising 4-Modules and the largest comprising 8-Modules. An 8-Module Tempest will give an output of 525 Kgs/hr at 70% wither and air inlet temperature of 120°C.
Qualitea - The teas are brisk, fire - free, black with good bloom and liquor.
Low Power and Fuel Consumption - Coal consumption is only 0.6 Kgs per Kg of Made Tea and F.Oil consumption is only 0.2 ltrs per Kg of Made Tea. The power consumption is only 76 watt per Kg of Made Tea.
Flexible Heat Source - The Conquest can be coupled to any type of heater i.e. direct heater(oil fired) or indirect heater (coal, leco & firewood)
Fully automatic control system - It ensures that no under-fired or over-fired teas are produced even with fluctuation in wither percentage
Gradual Moisture Removal - To ensure Quality tea without case hardening in Conquest teas are fired across three stages at low temperature.
Variable Drying Time - Conquest allows finer control over drying time. This enables it to adapt to any type of manufacturing.
Zero Spillage - Being fully enclosed and fitted with an efficient dust extraction system, no tea particles escape into the drying room.
Easy to Conveyorise - Because of Full width conveyor, the Conquest can be directly fed from the fermenting machine by a conveyor. Pneumatic discharge allows for conveyorisation of dryer mouth teas to the sorting room.
Easy & quick Installation - No excavation and civil work required, since plenum chamber is overground. Installation can be completed within seven days.
